Front page

  1. Getting started — Your first ten minutes: find your way around, bring in your bookmarks and add the sidebar to your browser.
  2. Your start page — The page of folder boxes you see after logging in, how to choose what it shows, and how to make it your browser's homepage or new tab.
  3. The sidebar tree — How the folder tree works: opening folders and bookmarks, the right-click menus, Unsorted and Tags.
  4. Adding bookmarks — Every way to save a page: Add page, the right-click menu, the Add button and the bookmarklet.
  5. Installing the browser extension — Download the Bookmark Ace extension for Chrome, Edge or Firefox, install it and connect it to your account.
  6. Bookmarklets (Safari and other browsers) — Two buttons for your bookmarks bar that open your tree and save pages in any browser, Safari included.
  7. Folders, moving and sorting — Make folders, move things by dragging or with Move..., and choose how each folder is sorted.
  8. Tags — Label bookmarks with tags, find them by tag in the tree, and tidy your tags.
  9. Search and the filter box — Narrow the tree as you type, or press Enter to search all your bookmarks, titles, addresses and descriptions.
  10. Private, public and published folders — Every bookmark is private unless you say so. Share a folder with a link if you want to.
  11. Importing and exporting — Bring bookmarks in from your browser or another service, and make a copy of yours whenever you like.
  12. The Trash — Deleted folders and bookmarks wait in the Trash for 30 days, so you can put them back.
  13. Dead links and duplicates — Bookmark Ace checks your links for pages that have gone and finds addresses you saved twice.
  14. Settings, two-factor and connected browsers — Change how Bookmark Ace looks and behaves, your password, two-factor sign-in and connected browsers.
  15. Your account, privacy and deleting it — Who can see what, how your account was set up, and how to leave and take your bookmarks with you.
  16. Keyboard shortcuts — Everything in Bookmark Ace works without a mouse. These are the keys.
  17. Something isn't working — Quick answers to the usual problems with logging in, the extension, imports and links.
